Babcock Healthcare Education Services is an American Heart Association Training Center for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Babcock Healthcare was established in 2000 by Wilhelmenia F. Babcock, RN, BS, MSc along with her husband Paul Babcock, BS, MBA who manages the company’s administrative needs. The company is located in Saint Petersburg, Florida and is the second largest training center in the greater Southeast Region of the United States. Our teaching staff consists of: Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists and a host of ancillary helpers. The Training Center is home to over 1000 American Heart Association’s instructors, 120 sites and independent instructors, providing AHA courses for over a decade. Our team teaches monthly  BLS Instructor courses, frequent ACLS  and PALS Instructor courses.

Wilhelmenia actively began her role as a volunteer with the American Heart Association in 1978 and has participated in mass community CPR training; she has also been interviewed by many Tampa Bay Area Television Stations for CPR related issues including the Home Shopping Network for Diabetes education. Her wide range of experience over 30 years includes but is not limited to: Med-Surg, Critical Care, Management, Education, Nursing Schools and Colleges, etc.

As an American Heart Association Regional Faculty member, Wilhelmenia F. Babcock is committed to helping promote the AHA mission of reducing death and disability from heart disease and stroke.

Babcock Healthcare provides AHA courses for the public and healthcare professionals who have a duty to act in cases of an emergency.
